PETA Petition Urges Swift Punishment of U.S. Marine Who Killed Puppy

March 5, 2008 · No Comments

If the now infamous video of alleged puppy killer David Motari has prompted you to demand he is punished to the fullest extent of military law, then be sure to sign the petition to the Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) sponsored by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The petition reads:

“Cruelty to animals should have no place in the Marine Corps. The recent video footage of a soldier apparently throwing a puppy off a cliff is disturbing both because the act is so cruel and because the act apparently violates the Marines’ code of conduct. If those involved are brought to justice and convicted, the most severe penalties should be sought, including discharge from the Corps.”
