Here’s what the Baltimore Sun reported in a March, 2, 2007 article detailing Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-Ill.) ancestors who owned slaves:
According to the research, one of Obama’s great-great-great-great grandfathers, George Washington Overall, owned two slaves who were recorded in the 1850 census in Nelson County, Ky. The same records show that one of Obama’s great-great-great-great-great-grandmothers, Mary Duvall, also owned two slaves.
The Sun retraced much of Reitwiesner’s work, using census information available on the Web site ancestry.com and documents retrieved by the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, among other sources. The records show that Overall, then 30, owned a 15-year-old black female and a 25-year-old black male, while Mary Duvall, his mother-in-law, owned a 60-year-old black man and a 58-year-old black woman. (Slaves are listed in the 1850 census by owner, age, “sex,” and “colour,” not by name.)
An Obama spokesman did not dispute the information and said that the senator’s ancestors “are representative of America.”
Could Obama’s guilty conscience, if he has one, lead him to pay for the sins of his racist, slave-owning ancestors? According to Chicago, Ill.-based journalist Andy Martin, Obama supports fellow black elected leaders who have expressed a desire to grant slavery reparations to Black Americans.
Obama hangs with the reparations crowd. Now guilt by association is certainly unfair. But if you hang with the reparations crowd, they must see something in you they like. Indeed they do. U. S. Representative John Conyers, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is reportedly waiting for Obama to be elected so Conyers can rush a reparations law through Congress. (The Hill, 3/13/ 2007) Hmmm. Does Conyers know something we don’t?
Finally, the most telling indication that Obama has a secret addiction to reparations is reflected in those who support him and those whom he supports: the most notorious race-baiter on the Chicago City Council, Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman.
Haven’t heard of Dorothy Tillman? You better learn about Obama’s #1 supporter. And fast. You really should know who she is. Tillman has almost single-handedly made a joke of the City of Chicago in the public finance industry over her preoccupation with slavery and reparations.
Tillman supports Obama and Obama supports Tillman.
Last week (2007) Obama endorsed Tillman for reelection. Tillman was forced into a runoff after her opponents failed to agree on a single candidate to oppose her. Tillman was an early supporter of Obama’s in his rise to prominence over the past decade.
And Tillman is a disgrace. Her favorite pastime is abusing banks and financial institutions that want to do business with the City of Chicago. A regular feature of council proceedings is Tillman flaying banks for “owning slaves” at some remote point in history over 150 years ago.
Using a 2002 “Slavery Era Disclosure Ordinance” that she authored, Tillman has accused Bank of America of having a predecessor bank that made “leg irons for slaves.” Wachovia, J.P. Morgan Chase, LaSalle Bank, Lehman Brothers, American General and Nationwide Life Insurance were all brought before Tillman’s mast and whipped for their ties to slavery, however remote, over 150 years ago.
Indeed, Tillman has been quoted as saying her goal is to “repair the damage of 400 years” of slavery. “America owes us,” Tillman demands (Sun-Times 3/26/2007).
And yes, Obama has endorsed this carnival-style extortionist for reelection. So much for the audacity of Obama, so much for the “smallness” of politics in Chicago.
Tillman abuses and opposes anyone who thinks that slavery is not a major issue any more. When the City wanted to refinance $800 million in debt, Tillman was there claiming slavery should be an issue. Last fall, the City tried to lease parking garages for over a half billion dollars: the deal hit a “slavery speed bump.” Tillman filed suit because her slavery ordinance was brushed aside (Sun-Times 12/1/2006). “The whole world is watching us just disregard this law for black people’We’re totally disrespected as a people…,” (Sun-Times 10/31/06). On and on it goes. Sounds like the race card to me.
Tillman accused Morgan Stanley of “getting rich from investments and profits in slavery,” (Chicago Tribune, 10/30/ 2006). Morgan Stanley was formed in 1935 …
When Obama’s critics attack him for the sermons of his pastor they are going too far, in my opinion. I am not responsible for what my minister says. Preachers get a lot of leeway in the pulpit.
But when a public official files a frivolous lawsuit against a half-billion dollar public finance deal, claiming that Blacks are being disrespected because of slavery, and Obama goes on to endorse that kind of nonsense, Obama should be charged with endorsing the antics of the reparations gang.
When confronted with the claims of some of his more controversial supporters President Reagan used to say, “They endorsed me; I didn’t endorse them.”
In the case of Barry Obama and Dorothy Tillman, he has endorsed her and her unseemly reparations crusade for slavery.
Only Obama doesn’t want his national audience to know it. I seriously doubt that many of the tens of thousands of people who have succumbed to Obama’s pleas for “hope” realize he “hopes” to force them to pay tax dollars to provide some form of compensation to people who weren’t alive from people who weren’t alive, all for the evils of slavery. They have no idea who Dorothy Tillman is, or what she stands for, or the damage she continues to do to taxpayers in Chicago. All in the name of slavery.
And yet ignorant suckers keep on giving, not knowing who Obama is and what he wants to accomplish if he should end up in the Oval office.
Dorothy Tillman was arrested on March 2, 2008 in her native Montgomery, Ala. and charged with “criminal trespassing after a confrontation with hospital officials about her 86-year-old ailing aunt.” Tillman lost her seat on the Chicago City Council in April 2007, despite being endorsed by Sen. Obama.
“[Tillman] was one of Obama’s earliest supporters in his U.S. Senate bid. But others are wondering how Obama’s decision to back such a die-hard proponent of slavery reparations will play in Iowa and New Hampshire. They may have a point,” wrote Rich Miller in the Chicago Sun-Times on March 23, 2007.
Well, it looks like Obama’s association with slavery reparation proponent, Tillman, hasn’t influenced voters’ decisions one way or the other in the primaries. But, then again, when was the last time you heard the mainstream media note Obama’s relationship with Tillman, or question whether his 2007 endorsement extented to supporting her insistence on American taxpayers giving a blank check to Black Americans, even if their ancestors never owned slaves?

Oh, the horror. We can’t hear the fish cry like the puppy being thrown over the cliff by a U.S. soldier, but one can only imagine the pain felt by these helpless creatures just milliseconds before they were killed by a rocket propelled grenade.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) hasn’t started a petition yet to demand courts-martial for the U.S. soldiers heard cheering-on the lone Afghan assassin, but if everyone makes a big enough stink about this mass murder of God’s creatures, justice could possibly be served to those who served themselves some tasty lake fish.
How many innocent fish have to die before our troops can come home and enjoy a good night out at Red Lobster? No war for seafood!

In the spirit of college basketball’s “March Madness,” The Penginator presents Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-Ill.) “Sweet 16″ people and groups that he has turned to throughout his life for inspiration, guidance, wisdom and support. Draw your own conclusions, but don’t say I didn’t warn you about this playa’s mad fake-out skillz if he ends up winning the “Big Dance.” And, just remember this tried and tested motto of successful teams when pulling the lever at the polls, “Defense wins games!”
1. “The Marxist Professors” - The following quote is found on pages 100 and 101 from Barack Obama’s book, “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance”:
“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism, and patriarchy. 5. Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. (Obama’s “spiritual advisor”)- “Obama, the guiding hand to American unanimity, has for the past 20 years been a parishioner at Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ, whose leader is, by any reasonable standard, a racist,” opined David Harsanyi in his March 4, 2008 Denver Post Op-ed. ”The pastor in question is Jeremiah Wright Jr. It was his use of the term ‘audacity of hope’ in a sermon that inspired Obama to title his best-selling book with the phrase. Wright is a longtime supporter of Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan. Last year, the ‘Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award’ was given to Farrakhan, who, it turns out, ‘truly epitomized greatness.’”
6. Abongo ‘Roy’ Obama - “The person who made me proudest of all … was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol,” the Examiner (D.C.) reported on Jan. 29, 2007 about Obama’s affection for his brother, Roy.
Now, piece that display of brotherly love together with a Jan. 15, 2008 report from Investor’s Business Daily (that appears nearly a year after the Examiner.com article) which introduces us to the real Roy, and you’ll see why there’s reason to question Obama’s brotherly love for his militant Muslim brother.
“Obama has close family ties to Kenya, and even founded a school in his ancestral village — the Senator Obama School.
“In the bloody conflict there, which already has claimed some 700 lives, Obama appears to have sided with opposition leader Raila Odinga, head of the same Luo tribe to which Obama’s late Muslim father belonged.
“Obama’s older brother still lives there. Abongo ‘Roy’ Obama is a Luo activist and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must ‘liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.’ He urges his younger brother to embrace his African heritage.
“Beyond family politics, these ties have potential foreign policy, even national security, implications,” notes the Investor’s Business Daily article.
7. Bob Moses, draft dodger - “‘What really inspired me,’ Obama told me during one of several conversations about his work as an organizer, ‘was the civil rights movement. And if you asked me who my role model was at that time, it would probably be Bob Moses, the famous sncc [Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee] organizer.’”

According to U.S. News and World Report, “In 1966, [Moses] left for Canada when, at the age of 31, he received a draft notice. After a stint teaching math in Tanzania, he returned to the United States when President Jimmy Carter granted amnesty to draft resisters.”
8. Saul D. Alinksy, Satan admirer- “Obama … had this to say about legendary Chicago organizer Saul Alinsky in The New Republic:
“Sometimes the tendency in community organizing of the sort done by Alinsky was to downplay the power of words and of ideas when in fact ideas and words are pretty powerful. ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, all men are created equal.’ Those are just words. ‘I have a dream.’ Just words.”

Rules for Radicals by Saul D. Alinksy has a page of quotes just before the table of contents. In the last of the three quotes, Alinsky himself
said the following:

9. Malcolm X - “Obama, who would start his career in politics as a community organizer in Chicago, wrote that he also found solace in the autobiography of Malcolm X, with his ‘unadorned insistence on respect.’”

This video compilation of Obama speeches shows the candidate ”borrowing words” from historical figures. It starts out with him telling a crowd of black supporters in South Carolina that they’ve been “hood winked, bamboozled,” just like the “star” of Spike Lee’s movie, “Malcolm X.” It’s like one of those remix tapes, but with Obama starring as the mix-master.

I can see that Spike Lee’s film use of bamboozled might resonate with African-American voters, especially since Lee titled a subsequent movie ‘Bamboozled.’ But isn’t Malcolm X, the controversial black separatist, the last person the ‘uniter’ candidate would purposely invoke?”
10. Allah- “Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” Translated literally, that Muslim prayer says:
“Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Hasten to the Prayer, hasten to the Prayer. Hasten to real success, hasten to real success. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is none worthy of worship but Allah.”
11. Al Sharpton - “Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama D-Ill., stopped for a little soul food with Al Sharpton in Harlem Thursday (Nov. 29, 2007) evening. Arriving together in the same car, the two were flanked by people on the street outside the popular soul food restaurant, ‘Silvia’s’ in the heart of Harlem. Obama yelled, ‘We gon’ shake up the world,’ as he entered the restaurant side by side with Sharpton.”

12. Jena 6 - “Today I stand with those who stand for justice in Jena,” said Sen. Obama in a Sept. 20 press statement. “The thousands of Americans from every race and region who have descended on this small Louisiana town carry forth the legacy of all those who sat at lunch counters and took freedom rides to strike a blow against injustice wherever it may exist. When a noose hangs from a schoolyard tree in the 21st century and young men are treated in a way that is not equal nor just, it is not just an offense to the people of Jena or to the African-American community, it is an offense to the ideals we hold as Americans. I renew my call for the District Attorney to drop the excessive charges filed in this case, and I will continue my decades-long fight against injustice and division as President.”

13. Kanye West - “I’ve met with Jay-Z; I’ve met with Kanye. And I’ve talked to other artists about how potentially to bridge that gap. I think the potential for them to deliver a message of extraordinary power that gets people thinking (is massive),” Obama said during Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) political special “What’s In It For Us?”.
14. Jay Z - It’s easy to see why Obama wants Jay Z’s support when you read (and, hum along to) a sample of the rapper’s lyrics:

15. Ludacris, enemy of Oprah - “[Ludacris] was dropped as a Pepsi spokesman in 2004 after Pepsi’s choice drew criticism from talk show host Bill O’Reilly and the conservative right. And last year he ended up in a war of words with media mogul Oprah Winfrey after accusing her of being against rappers because she doesn’t feature them on her show. Winfrey responded by asserting she doesn’t condone the negative images of women propagated by Ludacris and others in lyrics and videos.” But Obama did let his good friend, Oprah’s, concerns stop him from from promoting ”AIDS awareness” with Ludacris at Northwestern University on November 29, 2006.
16. Speaking of Oprah Winfrey: “Oprah talked about her humble beginnings in Mississippi, and particularly about how her mother’s highest aspiration for her was that she might end up cleaning white people’s houses, because ‘they give away nice clothes.’ And then Oprah pointed out that now that she’s Oprah, she has ‘all these white people’ working for her, and that in fact there’s only one black person on the staff. Way to turn the tables, girl,” reported TMZ on Sept. 25, 2006.
I know I said this was a “Sweet 16″ round-up, but let’s give props to Obama’s soul-mate, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson-Obama: Mrs. Obama’s 1985 Princeton University thesis “offers several fascinating insights into the mind of Michelle Obama, who has been a passionate advocate of her husband’s presidential aspirations and who has made several controvesial statements, including this week’s remark, ‘For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country.’ That comment has fueled debate on countless blogs, radio talk shows and cable news for days on end, causing her to explain the statement in greater detail,” the Politico.com reported on Feb. 22, 2008.

In 1999, then State Senator Barack Obama proposed a federal law banning licensed gun shops from operating within five miles of a school or park because, obviously, he was concerned about kids getting shot by gun shop patrons eager to play with their new toys. Duh!
However, as National Review’s Jim Geraghty reported in his March 3 column, “Obama appears to find another kind of establishment to be perfectly fine operating near your children’s school.”
“Obama was also the sole present vote on a bill that easily passed the Senate that would require teaching respect for others in schools. He also voted present on a measure to prohibit sex-related shops from opening near schools or places of worship, which ultimately did not pass the Senate.
“In both of those cases, his campaign said, he was trying to avoid mandates on local authorities.
“The bill did not get the required three-fifths majority, so it did not in fact pass. (Mr. Obama voted “present” on the measure.)”
Geraghty brilliantly summarized the Obama voting phenomenon asking, “Why on God’s green earth does Barack Obama object to mandates on local authorities for porn shops but not for gun stores? Or conversely, why does he feel it’s necessary to keep gun stores five miles from a school, but no limit on porn shops?”

Living in Chicago, Ill. is getting less and less convenient and enjoyable for law-abiding citizens thanks to a single city official who thinks he knows what’s best for those he was elected to represent.
If you live in the Windy City or have spent any time there in recent years, you’ve probably noticed that it’s a smoke-free city now. Thank Alderman Ed Smith for cleaning the air and protecting your lungs, whether you like the smoking ban or not. Approve or disapprove, that’s not really the point. Ed Smith knows what’s best for you and you should be kissing his ass for saving your life, and if you’re a smoker, for not letting you kill others with your toxic cigarette smoke.
Speaking of toxic fumes, how about that ban on spray paint cans in Chicago? Your barbecue or fence might be rusty, but Smith has bigger concerns, like preventing hoodlums from spraying graffiti on buildings and overpasses. Kudos to Ed Smith for helping ban spray paint and forcing you to travel outside of the city to a Home Depot that trusts you’ll use it properly.
Enjoy indulging in a little delicacy known as “foie gras?” Well, Ed Smith doesn’t think you should be eating goose liver because as he told reporters when he threatened to resign as Chicago Health Committee Chairman, “My professionalism, my manhood, my integrity is at stake … I’m a vegetarian. I don’t eat meat. I don’t eat duck or anything else.”
While we’re on the topic of tasty birds, Smith doesn’t believe Chicago citizens should have the right to own chickens as pets or for harvesting their eggs. Why anyone would want to own a chicken for a pet is beyond me, but that’s not the point. Smith has his reasons for supporting the ban on chickens, and once again, you shouldn’t question his authority and sound judgment.
If you enjoy the famous taste of Chicago deep dish pizza, it might just be that the extra burst of flavor comes from those evil trans fats, and Smith would rather sacrifice the quality and taste of a national treasure if it means saving your arteries from clogging, or whatever trans fats do that’s so scary.
“People are getting the message that health is important,” Smith said when asked about Chicago potentially banning trans fats. ”These kinds of measures are important. When these things begin to pass around the country, it has the tendency to have a ripple effect.”
Imagine how many tourists attending the Olympic Games in Chicago would be disappointed if the city’s pizza joints were forced to change the recipes for their famous pizzas? Well, Smith won’t support an effort to win an Olympic bid for his city unless an Olympic-sized swimming pool is first constructed at a predominantly black (draw your own conclusions) high school in his ward (28).
“If they don’t build an Olympic-sized swimming pool, children on the West Side will not be able to participate in the Olympics. They won’t have an opportunity to practice,” Smith said. ”Children coming from Russia and Norway are practicing right now in Olympic pools. All of the medals will go elsewhere.” One can only assume that the “Tiger Woods” of swimming will quickly rise out of Chicago if Smith’s demand for a pool is granted.
On Tuesday, March 4, Smith announced his latest attempt to save his city and “protectorate” from harming themselves by proposing a ban on small plastic bags that one would ordinarily find at convenience stores.
Smith believes those little plastic bags that the majority of Americans use to store food products are the trigger mechanism for the ”most destructive force” in Chicago neighborhoods. He elaborated, “We need to use every measure that we possibly can to stop it because it is destroying our kids. It’s destroying our community. It’s destroying our race of people. It’s ridiculous.”
Of course, Smith was referring to the “dime bags” that freelance pharmaceutical salesmen use to keep their products fresh for clients, but c’mon, he’s talking about banning plastic bags that countless moms depend on to pack peanuts inside for their kids to take to school — not crack cocaine.
Ed Smith isn’t really a Nazi, but he seems to be taking a page from Hitler and company when it comes to abusing his power in a position of authority to prevent citizens from engaging in activities and possessing materials that he has deemed inappropriate.

An Israeli rabbi has given the green light to women who feel their safety is in jeopardy to kill their would-be attackers at first strike.
“In either word or deed, fight him off. Yell out loud so that everyone can hear you. If he touches you, slap him,” declared Beit El Chief Rabbi Shlomo Aviner. “If he attempts to do worse, and there is no other choice, you can kill him…yes, kill him,” Ynetnews.com reports.
Females concerned about violating Israeli law need not worry, because Aviner claims the judicial system is on their side.
“A young man broke into a woman’s apartment and wanted to have his way with her. She killed him and the court ruled that in this instance she had the right to use reasonable force in order to defend herself, and that her actions were justified,” Aviner said reassuringly in support of his advice for women to take the law into their own hands.
Call me crazy, but placed in such an unfortuante situation, wouldn’t your first instinct be to lace up your Nikes and run really fast? Then, if a potential attacker or rapist catches you — kill him. I just don’t trust an Israeli court to always condone the murder of an “alleged” attacker or rapist because we all know how crafty criminal defense attorneys are, no matter where they practice law.
I totally support the right to defend yourself in your own home, but when confronted — or have the perception of being confronted — on the street , it’s hard to determine if the reaction was in response to an actual action or anticipated action. If you think someone’s going to attack you, I still say run first. Again, I just don’t trust a court of my so-called peers to deem my actions justifiable versus ruling in favor of the defendant with a slick attorney.

I find it hard to believe that an airport in post-Sept. 11 America allowed a crew of wannabe rappers to commandeer a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint and shoot a music video mocking the TSA as a bunch of uneducated “gangstaz” whose sole purpose is to unnecessarily harass travelers.
Before you watch this sad attempt at a rap video, let me warn you that it contains gratuitous profanity and sexual innuendos.
Call it a hunch, but I’m guessing that the TSA officers charged with manning this post will be reprimanded, if not fired, for allowing this “rap group” to shoot their video and play with sensitive security screening equipment. And, before anyone suggests that it’s some realistic recreation of a TSA checkpoint, let me just say that I don’t buy that argument because you’ll notice quite quickly that these guys don’t possess enough talent to afford such an elaborate backdrop for their low-budget production.
